How do I invite my friends to play with me? At the end of the reservation process, click on the "Invite Friends" button. This will bring you to the "Invite Friends" page. One by one, enter your friends' email addresses and click "Add New". Their names will be added to the list and stored in your file so that you do not need to re-enter their email addresses the next time you want to invite them. After you finish entering the email addresses, on the table below, choose the names that you want to invite. If you do not check the box, an email will not be sent to that friend. There is also a place for you to enter additional notes to your friends. Once you have finished entering the text, click on the "Invite" button right below the table to start sending out the email. Make sure you click on the "Invite" button and not the "Finish" button. The "Finish" button will close out of this function and bring you back to the main menu.

	After I sent out the first invitation, how do I come back to send out more? Click on "Lookup Reservation" and enter your email address (your ID) and the confirmation number. Your reservation will be displayed. Just follow the same instructions for inviting a friend. Enter your new friend's email address, click on the "Add New" button, check the box next to his or her name, and click the "Invite" button. An email will be sent to that friend. For those friends that you have sent an email before, the system will not send an email to them again.

	How do I make a reservation? You need to make your reservation online with a credit card at our club's secure website using a web browser or a mobile phone: www.sgvbc.net You need to make your reservation at least 3 hours in advance. For popular times, you may want to make your reservation more than a week in advance. It is a first come, first served system.

Online Court Reservation - Who needs it? Why? People who want to play badminton with friends (boyfriends or girlfriends?) in the privacy of their own reserved court. Small families with kids that want to play badminton without having to wait for open courts or play with strangers. People who have tight schedule and do not want to spend hours waiting for an open court to play. With a scheduled date and time, they can just come in, play one or two hours, then GO! Small organized groups that want to play only with their group members at the scheduled date and time. For example, company groups, church fellowship groups, etc. Advanced players who want to play/practice only with their partners without interruption from other people who are waiting for an open court. By putting the court reservation online, people can make reservations whenever it is convenient for them, even in the middle of the night. The online reservation system also has an "Invite Friends" feature that will email your friends to invite them to come and play with you. The email will state the reservation date, time, and place, along with personal remarks that you wish to add. We have a reward system like those in airlines and credit card companies. The more money you spend, the more reward points you can get. The reward points can be used to reserve courts directly.

What are coupons and how do I use them? We provide more services to our members and friends. They can receive a discount on their next reservation or give the coupons as gifts to their friends. You are not required to log in to use a coupon when making a reservation.

What is the waiting list? When all badminton courts have been reserved by other users, you can add your name to the waiting list so that when a user cancels a reservation, you will be notified so that you can make your own reservation for that court. If there are multiple people on the waiting list, everyone will be notified at the same time.

	After I am put on the waiting list, how do I change the notification type? Login on the "Make Reservation" site Click on "Waiting List" Delete the waiting list that you are on Make the reservation wait list on those date again, but this time select the notification type you want Save and exit

	What are the different types of waiting lists? There are three types of waiting lists: Non-Members Members Only Specific Court #.

	What is an SMS number? This is your cell-phone number. Include the area code but without the "-". For example, if your cell phone number is 626-222-3333, then you should put 6262223333 in the SMS field.

Why do I need to register to make a reservation? By registering with the online reservation system, you can enjoy the following benefits: You can fill in less information when you make a reservation because it will be saved from your previous reservations. You can see how many reward points you have. You can view your reservation history, including reservations, cancellations, and payments. You can have a schedule of your up-coming reservations. You can look up the waiting list.
